Margot and I have now been living in Adel, GA (aka the "deep south") now for about 3 months now. The big news has finally arrived. Our first child Alan Thomas was born on Saturday 6/18/2011 at a lean mean 5lbs 14 ozs. Needless to say Margot and I, while both being tired, are very happy to have this little bundle of concupiscence (to quote St. Augustine) in our lives. I am sure the feeling is mutual on Alan's part; he has not told us yet as all he does now is eat, sleep, and poop.
We hope to use this blog to keep you up to date on our family, events, and life on a park. Hopefully soon we will update again and my better writing half will take over more and more the the writing of this blog so you will not have to put up with poor syntax and grammar too much. But for now I leave you with this:
